Successful individuals employed in agriculture occupations need a basic understanding of industry specific financial operations, goal-setting, human relations, crops, soil management, as well as livestock fundamentals. This diploma is embedded within the Agribusiness Science & Technology Associate degree. This means that Agriculture Technician graduates have the opportunity to also complete their associate degree with one more year of college. Designed as a shared program with Moraine Park Technical College (MPTC) and Lakeshore Technical College (LTC), classes may be offered in traditional classroom settings or using interactive television to link instruction between LTC s School of Agriculture and the MPTC campuses of Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam, and West Bend. MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
